SECURITY & SAFETY PROTOCOL
Required for every client, at every event
Discretion and comfort depend on real security, not the appearance of it. These standards govern how every HighLeaf Social event is protected — who is admitted, what is permitted, how emergencies are handled, and how concerns are resolved. They apply equally to members, guests, vendors, entertainers, and staff. Attendance is your agreement to follow them.
Acknowledgment is required. All clients must read this page before their first event. Security may confirm your acknowledgment at check-in.
Standard 01
Entry & Identity Verification
The door is where safety begins. Entry is discreet, private, and never negotiable.
- Valid government-issued photo ID is required and must match the registered guest name. No ID, no entry — for every tier.
- Your registration is checked against the confirmed guest list. Membership may be verified at the door.
- Entry is never photographed or filmed. What happens at the door stays at the door.
- Suspended or revoked memberships are refused privately, without discussion in front of other guests.
Standard 02
Screening & Prohibited Items
Guests consent to a discreet bag check on entry. It takes seconds and protects the room.
- Bring small, openable bags. Large luggage and oversized cases are not permitted.
- Prohibited: weapons, outside alcohol, unlicensed cannabis, illicit substances, fireworks, drones, and professional recording equipment.
- Prescription medication is welcome in its labeled container, with ID available on request.
- Security may refuse entry or ask a guest to leave at their discretion. Surrendered items are documented and returned on exit where lawful.
Standard 03
On-Site Security Team
Licensed security is present at every event — at the door, on the floor, and at every exit.
- Licensed security staff work every event, briefed on the venue layout, exits, and guest profile in advance.
- Visible cover at entry and exits, with plainclothes presence on the floor.
- Staff are trained in de-escalation, basic first aid, and emergency evacuation procedures.
- Security, hosts, and management stay in direct radio contact for the entire event.
Standard 04
Emergency Procedures
In an emergency, staff instructions take priority over everything else happening in the room.
- Exits are marked, lit, and kept clear. Staff point them out on arrival — always know two ways out.
- If an evacuation is called, leave immediately and follow staff direction. Do not re-enter until cleared.
- The assembly point for each venue is announced at the start of the event.
- First aid supplies, an AED, and trained responders are on site. Emergency services are called for any serious medical incident.
Standard 05
Drink & Consumption Safety
Never leave a drink unattended, and never accept one you did not see poured.
- All beverages are served by staff. Covered cups are available at every bar.
- Do not leave a drink unattended or accept a drink from another guest.
- Report suspected tampering immediately and quietly to the nearest staff member.
- Free water is available at all times. Hydrate, and know your limit — low-dose and CBD options are always offered.
Standard 06
Belongings & Privacy
Your privacy is a condition of membership, not a courtesy.
- Coat and bag check is staffed and monitored throughout the event. Leave valuables at home.
- Photography is discreet and only permitted where posted. Never film another guest without their consent.
- Guest lists, addresses, and attendance records are never shared with third parties.
- Lost property is held for 14 days, then donated. Contact support to claim an item.
Standard 07
Prohibited Conduct
Standards are enforced consistently, regardless of tier, seniority, or relationship.
- Weapons, threats, violence, or intimidation result in immediate removal.
- Harassment, unwanted advances, and discrimination are grounds for removal and membership review.
- No unlicensed sales, solicitation, or promotion of outside products.
- Do not drive under the influence. Staff will arrange a ride, and law enforcement is involved where the law requires it.
Standard 08
Getting Home Safely
The event ends when you are safely on your way — not when the music stops.
- A staffed rideshare and pickup zone operates at every event, monitored until the last guest leaves.
- Security will not release a visibly impaired guest to drive, and will arrange transport instead.
- Tell staff if you feel unwell, unsteady, or unsafe — you will be looked after discreetly.
- Share your travel plans with a friend and leave with the group you arrived with.
